Customizable portal and User groups – new powerful services5 July 2012Telenor Traxion is launching a set of new, powerful functions. Our customers can now create groups of users and customize the services and functionalities, the content as well as the look and feel (branding) for each user group. This new functionality is an integrated part of our Basic service. Three examples on how this can be applied: 1) A freight operator can easily provide customers with a branded and customized tracking, tracing and monitoring service. The operator controls what services and functionality each customer (user group) shall have access to, which assets shall be visible as well as the look and feel of the portal or GUI. 2) A leasing company can easily offer a new value adding service on top of its core leasing portfolio. When leasing assets, the customer also gets a tailored, state of the art monitoring service in the package. 3) A shipper or operator can divide his monitoring of the fleet into logical user groups, e.g. based on transport relations, product units, geography or customers. Each internal user group gets a customized set of functionality and content for the fleet monitoring. Of course all of our services can be included and distributed via this new functionality. Since we provide the complete managed service of operating and supporting the whole solution, the freight operator or leasing company in the examples above, does not have to invest any resources into the service. The solution is powered by Telenor Traxion, but used, controlled and presented by you.
